I realize this is a bit of a hyperbole on Smith's part, but I wonder how far from the truth it actually is? Having never stepped foot on Pinehurst, I would like to think that I could manage the following... What do you guys think? Could you hack it ;)

"It's so tough that Mickelson's swing coach Rick Smith made a prediction. He told reporters that you could take 1,000 golfers with 10-handicaps, move No. 2's tees to within 30 yards of the greens, and still nobody would do better than bogey golf..."

I think that is more accurate. I probably wouldn't be able to break 90 from the white tees, but from 30 yards I think I could manage it.

Maybe you could under normal course setup but with the way the USGA has it playing right now I'd say Smith is accurate in his prediction.
