Currently, I have an Adams 3-wood, TM R7 5-wood and they are both hard as heck to hit especially out of the rough or a fairway bunker.
I'm thinking about going with a 2-hybrid and a different 3-wood with a higher loft.
I was also thinking about getting a 7-wood to escape those fairway bunkers or just try a 5-iron next time.

I bought a higher loft Cobra 3-wood this year (see sig) but it's not particularily long. Probably find a G10 for next year.... :)

think about a 4 wood and a 7 wood - should be easier to hit well and you might wind up with similar distances

Tour Edges Exotics 4 wood, put a decent shaft in it and your problems are solved. They are 16.5º loft but I seriously doubt you'll lose any distance over a 3 wood.

Odd that you are having a hard time hitting the R7 5w, oh wait I see you are trying it out of the rough. Pick up a 3 or 4 hybrid for that crap.
