Inspired by that Hogan video yesterday, I went to the range.
I conciderably lightened up my grip, moved my right thumb(I'm a righty) off the middle of the shat to the inside, and made a smooth of a swing as possible, without the club flying out of my hands.
Moving my thumb felt somewhat awkward at first, but that of it itself loosened up my grip.
I hit 2 buckets of 9 irons, just getting used to it, and by the end of the second bucket, it started to feel pretty good, and I was making solid contact everytime.
Hit a third bucket with a PW, 7,8,6 irons..Same results.
I had some trouble hitting the 3 Iron that way, but I'm sure that I will get used to that as well.
