IG's penchant for getting his girl-bait out on the course is well known.

Each to their own, I say - but when your obsession leads to environmental damage, then it's time to stop.

As this photo shows, IG had gone to wave it about again, so Dave - my non-cheating Irish mate - and I played our shots.

Next thing we knew, IG was beating seven shades out of an innocent gorse bush! Appalling! Turns out that mid-shake his Prince Albert had fallen off. Being a family heirloom he was prepared to move Heaven, Earth and a gorse bush to get it back.

Damn...having problems attaching the photo for some reason...but will post this message and try the photo later...watch this space...

    I'll sue yo' ass Mista!

My lawyers, Bagshot, Duff and Shanks, will shortly be in touch to counter your tabloid-like attack on my good name and reputation. This sleazy "gutter press" manoeuvre will win you no friends here at Shot Talk, right?

Remember Young Arab with the Kilt; you may be setting a precedent here. Things could slide quickly on the back of this, and our God like administrator has a nervous disorder. Mud could fly similar to your divots!! Is Shot talk big enough to handle it?

A retaliatory lawsuit is being prepared.

Nothing....but NOTHING...flies like my divots and I have expert witnesses drawn from the ranks of Scotland's finest greenkeepers.

Hoots Mon, you've supersized me! :faintthud

I'm relieved that the picture in question is in actual fact very cool. My drive was wedged up against this crap after an unfortunate bounce from the middle of the fairway. ;)

Rather than taking the ladies drop on offer, I instead stood up to the plate and hammered it to 15ft from about 100 yards, with no regard for my own or my playing partners' safety. Would have made a superb "Pepito Ballesteros" birdie, but for the distraction of KA's gibbering about the strength of the gentle breeze that often graces our links.

    Sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! (Toffo!) :D

More stunning pictures KA....and after seeing several photos of IG's swing from California to Connecticut to Ireland - I can tell why he has a good handicap.

Keeps a steady head and quiet lower body...

I'm been trying for a while to get this uploaded. Pepito has been gurning for a while that I have not posted any of my swings, so here goes.

This is on the forward tee of the 5th at Portstewart. I reckon I hit this about 280 downwind. Mrs. IG was the camera operator, she wasn't too happy about it; "but why would you want to take video of yourself swinging?"

Some folk just don't understand. :)

His lower body was pretty damned noisy after a couple of pints of Guinness, that's for sure...

This is an excellent video and I can see it well even on full screen. An example of a very good swing for everyone to evaluate:

    1) The club is taken back with the arms and shoulders.
    2) There is very very little lateral or rotational movement of the hips. The hips continue to face forward while the shoulders are rotating back to the top position.

Excellent coil has been created at the top of the swing- the foundation of power. A very small rotation of the hips with a large rotation of the shoulders. This is the X Factor.

    3) Shaft level at the top.
    4) Start downward with lower body - not hands, arms or shoulders. Starting downward with the upper body is what causes slices, pulls and tops.

Head is behind the ball at impact...

    And a nice high finish...Textbook.

    Ha!
We've got our own golf swing analyst here at shottalk.
Johnny, beware! Bravo's here to replace you.

    Oh, and nice photo KA.
IG, was it a super lob shot behind the bush from 100 yards? Very amazing!

I was very close to taking out Kilted Arab's manhood with that swing. We are talking inches to a ricochet that could have taken KA outa the gene pool.

Cheers Bravo. The SkySports contract is as good as yours. :)

Thankfully you were too busy taking out your own manhood to think about mine. I hope.

    Keep away from it.

So many possibilities... I'll leave them unsaid in the spirit of multinational relations.

Damnit ...... how did I miss this thread .... KA's opener is one of the funniest I've read ..... IG's swing is ok ... he's very low resolution ;) ... we have a saying here about wimmin who look great from a distance but up close they've a face that you'd chop blocks of wood on .. BOBFOC .. body off baywatch face off crimewatch :D

Ma man IG's credentials are there for all to see (so to speak ;)) classy guy on and off the course ... it was a great shot he played into this hole... unfortunately ;) ... me and KA were primed with the laugh-o-meter !!

just noticed I have 3 winks in the one post ... I think this could grow to be a problem ..... ;)
