I can't seem to figure out any way to control my distances on my iron shots. It seems like I can hit a 9 iron from 135ish all the way up to 155. I can't really find a consistentcy for striking, any tips?

Swing the same every time:biglol:

The key is to find out what normal is. Try hitting your 6 iron 100 yards, then 125 and so on until you feel like you have to swing hard to reach the next level. When you swing hard back off by 10 yards that is your normal distance. If that is 165 then the next time you have a 170 shot you need to hit a 5 iron and not try to blast a 6 iron. You will have your distances down pretty quick.

what i like to do is clear my head and close my eyes (much easier when you meditate regularly) then swing, (if i'm having a rough stretch this gets my swing back on track) this tempo that you are using is the tempo you need to use when swinging at the ball, do this and you should hit the ball pretty close to the same distance every time
