Where can I find infomation on how heavy iron shafts are?

Such as Project X, Standard Rifles, S300, X100's and the like.

Also other than covering the back of the club heads in lead tape whats the best way to increase swing weigths of your irons?

I prefer heavier feeling irons and want to try out some different weightings, then make it permanant without having lead weight everywhere.

Golf Club Shafts: Steel Iron Shafts

just click on the shafts you want to check out and the info is there in one place.

For adding weight to increase swingweight

try thess is the shafts are not installed, they come in 2-4-6-8-10g weights

Golfsmith.com: Golfsmith Plug-Wates 8 Gram For Steel Shafts - Golfsmith

if the shafts are already installed you can remove the grips and add tungsten podwer and then ram a cork down the shaft to hold it in place.

Golfsmith.com: Golfsmith Iron Corks-Pkg/25 - Golfsmith
Golfsmith.com: Golfsmith Tungsten Powder 1/2 Pound - Golfsmith

Just remember for every 2g of weight you add the head you increase the swing weight 1 point and soften the flex of the shaft by 1 cpm.

Thanks Guys.

The tip weights look like what I need. Noy sure if GolfSmith ship to the UK though, which is a shame cause I'd buy quite a lot of useful stuff from them.
