Ok heres the verdict I was at the range today with three sets of irons the

1. Mpp-33's- s400- They are a great iron I was hitting them well they are quite heavy and send the ball out lower than my pro II's. My bad shot was a thin with them. I hit the 7 iron 160 with little wind and cold weather. Nice looking sturdy club overall rating 4out of 5. My dislikes were the price and the grips a bit slippey.

2. Ben hogan apex blades- s300- They were also a great club bit more of a classic look, I was hitting them about the same height as my current irons mainly ecause of the same flex they were really nice to hit and looked good when you adressed the ball my average shot was about 160-165. Rating 4 out of 5. Dislikes to expensive

3. Prectept bridgestone tour premium- s300- The best iron of the lot and the cheapest i hit them the best of the lot they are £200 cheaper than the rest look great and perform excellant they were 5 yards longer than the other two but I think I will go for them I would recommend them to everyone. Dislike the only thing I would say the shafts arent as good as the other two but for the price you can't complain.

Thanks

Isn't the bridgestone a True Temper? TT are pretty good.

And look at what most of the japanese players use for irons. They use Bridgestone, but because it isn't so widely marketed in the Continent, the price is less expensive.
