I'm still new to golf and I'm trying learn everything I can to improve my game. I've learned that there are certain irons that are considered game improvement irons for higher handicapped players, and I was wondering if there are certain balls made for beginners and higher handicapped players?

the general theme, as i understand it, is that there are balls that are harder and spin less which generally result in straighter shots for people that can't control the amount of spin imparted on the ball - these help the higher handicap player hit the ball straighter and longer

softer (more spin) balls are designed to help a lower handicap player have more control over where the ball is going

there are also significant numbers of models on that continuum and everything in between

Exactly a couple examples of these are the Maxfli Noodle's and Dunlop Loco's.
