Yesterday Buddha mentioned he was pulling the ball a bit so I respond with a possible reason. Apparently, just talking about pulling the ball will also cause severe pulls and pull/hooks. Yesterday in my Wed. game I managed to pull 4, thats right 4 balls OB. Nothing like adding 8 strokes to an already mediocre day. So here's my new policy, (that I will never stick to).

    1. Never discuss a problem that I have or may potentially get.

    2. If anyone brings up the S word, shut down the computer and leave for the day.

    3. Anytime I pull a ball OB, come back online and blame Buddha for bringing it up in the first place. :p

Can't wait till Sunday when we play again. :D

Hmmm. I apologize, Dave. I honestly meant no bad karma your way.

BTW, I've got a nasty case of the yips lately. Can you help me out?

Yah. I was shanking everything over a 7 iron yesterday.

Don't make me come down there with my lead pipe Buddha! :sobbash:

Actually I had it pretty well worked out by the end of the round. Just too late to salvage the scorecard. I've been fighting this off and on for years & thought it was behind me. Golf is so much fun.

You just have to forget about your doctor, Buddha. And turn your hat backwards. And put all your change into your right pocket.

That'll cure the yips. That, or penicillin.

Dave, I welcome you to come here and try. I've closed the No. 3 gripper and am fully capable of beating you over the head with it.

Rock, I haven't been to a dr. in quite some time. The yips aren't going to get me there either. I guess I'll just have to live with them (along with that huge, hairy growth on my butt).

I look at that avatar of yours after reading that and just shudder.

It's supposed to snow tonight. Bummer.

Hopefully the avatar will change back after Sunday. I really did get it worked out by the end of the day and was hitting my long irons as well as I have in a long time.

I saw that front coming out of Canada on this morning's weather and thought it might mean an end to your golfing for awhile. Looks like it's time to migrate.

I had no idea you could close the #3. Lets just let the whole thing drop. Don't hurt me. :groupwave

    LOL...That's what I thought.

FWIW, it's just starting to cool down into the 80's here. It'll be that way for the next couple of months until it finally slips into the chilly 70's. We may even touch the 60's in January and February. Have fun hibernating.

    :golf:

    Up yours. :D

    Hibernation. You're a dead man.

And for the record, Dave, Buddha can't close the #3. He's a lying sack.

There's only one superhero i know of that can do that! :yellow:

Friggin snow. Am i ever bitter about this. I was going to head out this afternoon for a round, but it's shi-tty out, bigtime.

If it stayed about 20 here all year round, i'd be loving it.

Migration might happen this winter. I need a place to stay tho. I buy beer in trade.

On the first hole today, I forgot how to pitch and chip. 1 Pitch, 3 chipping, then a nice bunker shot and a good putt. This is more a case of warm up.

Rock, what about instead of beer, sake? :D

i watched a kid at my range topping balls repeatedly. And performed a 40 second skit in my drama class based on him. and wouldnt you know it im hitting everything thin!!

Dude, you're welcome down here any time. We just moved into a new home so you could be the first out of town guest. The courses down here are cheap and plentiful. Just make sure to bring shorts, sunscreen, and some Moosehead.
