Are they any good? worth the money or is there a better club out there for about that same price range?

I have the SZ 3 wood. I demoed about everything and so should you. It's forgiving and long but one the main reasons I got it was the deep face.

Our fairways are kept pretty long so the low profile clubs don't work for me off the deck. I also use it off the tee on short or tight par 4s. As far as being worth the money, I think it's similar in price to other OEM clubs I tried.

Try the Nike T-60. I demoed the King Cobra, Cleveland and Ping G2 fairway woods and the Nike was superior for me. See my post from yesterday about my new 3-wood.

As big a Cobra fan as I am I must admit that I really like the Taylor Made R5 fairway woods. When my swing isn't 100% I put the R5 - 5 wood in the bag. When it is I use a Cobra Comp 3 wood. The SZ's are very good and are alot of club for the price. You may look at the SZ Strong 4 wood which is a tad easier to get up than the SZ 3 wood. The strong 4 is 16.5 degrees opposed to the 3 wood at 15 degrees.

I went with the cobra's as I found them easier to hit. I do'nt know if its physics or psycology but they work for me so I'm not asking....

Of course now I have a sreined ankle (2 weeks ago) while building a deck - so I am just surfing until this weekend when I try 9 holes... so I am envious of any club you buy...

I did buy an ipod for the price of a wood.... so I guess there is always a way to spend the allowance...
tommy t on cape 100 yds from the course...

I use my SZ 3 wood off the tee on all shorter par 4s. Very forgiving and only 15 - 20 yds shorter than my driver.

Latest news has it that Cobra is discontinuing production on their entire driver/fairway wood line. Maybe you can pick one of these up for cheap.
