Lesson Learned

Well I learned a lesson I should never forget. I just got a new X-Forged 60* wedge and was playing it for maybe the 4th time yesterday at high school practice. I had a 80 yard shot into a green over a lake and hit the ball to about 5 feet, but the head of my wedge landed in the lake..oh great. Well I threw the shaft in the trash thinking none of it. The tip was all bent and broken, cracked about 2 inches.
So I call Cally Customer Service, and the lady was very apologetic about the whole situation, but cannot do anything for me because I do not have the shaft.

So now I am SOL. Lesson learned - Save the dang shaft.

so if you have half a broken shaft they'll ship you a new club? that's ridiculous
how the hell would they know one broken shaft from another?

Wow, I hate to hear about that happening. But thanks for the info, I'd have most likely done the same thing and thrown the shaft away.
