I posted on suggestions a while back ago looking for some irons and since ive played the mp30s, mp60s, and mx23.

Im looking for a forged set for around 300 bucks. I have check out the titleist 704.cb and might for it. I really like the mp57s, but they are still too expensive for me.

What do you guys think and do you guys have any suggestions?

For 300 bucks, you could track down some MP-32's, RAC's or some Cobra SS forged.

Bridgestone J33cb's can be found new in your price range if you look around.

I have a very clean set of J33cb's for sale. I can sell them head only or with the DGS300 shafts in them.

I also have a set of MP-30's that are in good shape (a bit of bag chatter and some browning on the faces.) Also shafted with DGS300.

Hey Eracer, can you give me some pricing on both sets (J33 with shaft) and some pictures of each? and what grips you got on them?

Thanks

Paypal, unless you want to wait two weeks for a check or money order to clear.

MP 30's have DGS300 shafts, and somewhat worn full-cord grips. The pics are representative of the general condition of the irons.

The J33CB's 3,4 irons have DGS300 shafts with original Bridgestone Tour Velvets, while the 6-PW have Rifle Flighted 5.0 with new Tour Velvets. I can put the original DGS300 shaft back into the 5-iron if you'd like.

Thanks Eracer for the pictures. I think i will pass on your offer. I just came back from hitting my friend's titleist 704.cb irons and they felt great. I did some brief browsing and found that they were in my budget range too, so i think i will concentrate in looking for those specific irons.

I think its either going to be those or the Mp57s from Mizuno assuming I get Bush's Stimulus check soon? So I guess we'll see.

Thanks, again though

No problem. Buying clubs you've hit are always a better idea.
