oh,must be the other way round then,so I am now confused as to why Tmag thinks they are hard

I've always refererred to Titleist balls as Reds and Blacks,never the 'modern' way of X or normal,or whatever.

The Red still has a firmer feel than the HX56 or the B330S.

It's an issue that was pointed out when they were released - I remember all the golf magazine reviews pointing out that they were nice balls, but were bound to cause confusion by being 'coloured' the opposite way round to their direct comparisons in the Titleist range, which will probably always be the standard people go by.
