I was at Target tonight and they had the Maxfli Revolution Tour balls for 6 bucks a dozen. I bought a box of them and wanted to know if anyone has played with them. I read some reviews and they sound like a great ball especially for the price. Should I buy every single box that they have?

I have been playing them for the past month or so. They spin well are moderately long (I find the Pro V1 longer) and are VERY soft... to me they feel almost dead, a little too mushy.

But they are a lot better at 6$ a dozen than $45

Well, I hope these balls are nice because I bought 9 dozen of them. It only cost me $60 so a pretty good deal compared to the Pro Vs. :) Plus I don't think that I am good enough to notice the difference anyway.

Yeah, they're a good ball. They sold for 10 quid ($18) for a sleeve of three in our Pro Shop when we stocked them not so long ago, so even judging by that, you're onto a severe winner. Not as technologically advanced as a Pro V1, although if you're anything but a fairly low single digit handicapper, you won;t notice the difference..:)

I haven't played them, but I've heard lots of good reviews, and at $6 a dozen you can't lose.

I bought some earlier in the summer at their regular price and mangaed to lose every single one of them. I imagine I could lose them at $6 a dozen too...:)

My local Target still had them at $17.99 and only had one box left. Bummer.

$6/doz. ???? :wow:

I would have bought 4 dozen for that price!! I used to play the maxfli revolutions back when they were like marshmallows. Those spun too much for me. I actually still have a couple sleeves left. I need to buy some balls, guess I need to make a trip to my local Target to see if they have any deals like that. Because any kind of ball you use for that price would be great, even if its just for a shag bag full of practice balls. I'd pay that price for rock-flights just for practicing.

Yes the MaxFli is a real good ball, and at that price I'd have to empty the whole shelf and fill my golf ball shelf with them. It's a 3 piece ball with a thin urathane cover for $6, what more do you need. Buy them all.

No I'm not a pro at this time. I do make and sell my own design of putters and build golf clubs as a side line. Would like to make it a full time career if I can figure out how to make enough money with it.
