Okay guys, here's probably one of the biggest issues/problems with the Austin method....
Mike Dunaway promoted himself as Austin's heir apparent.......then Dan Shauger took the same claim and they both fought and took it public (for awhile).....because their instructions/techniques were basically different.
They both claimed to be Austin's favorite....and no one knows who's right...we will never know.
Mike Austin's swing and theory is like Moe Normans, in the respect they were vastly different than normal golf, and a "dangling fruit" for those who were struggling with the game and wanted a quick fix.
Bottom line? Stick to the basics......make adjustments for you physical stature,learn the short game ..... and move on.
