I'm nervous about next weeks first qualifying comp all ready there is so much pressure on me to do well this year people have said you will defo get cut and I'M looking out for you to play in the senior cup team etc...

So I know from now on it is time to get serious, and I know that I wont enjy any round until it is over and it is good. I think this is a bad thing but it means so much to me.

Anyone else presured this seaseon, maybe silver has a little because he wants to break 90 etc....

Nah, I don't really feel the pressure, because my goals are just fun things for me. I want to get better for my own reasons - no competitions or anything.

I'm at peace with my golf game and the direction it's going.

It's good to get a little nervous or agitated before a round, but don't get too wrapped up in it. If you don't enjoy it you will shoot high numbers, that's guaranteed. You have to live in the moment, not the next shot or hole or round ahead

At this point in your golfing life the fact that you play well or not doesn't affect the food you put in your mouth or th ebed that you sleep on.

Relax, enjoy it. Sure get pumped up, but also make sure to put it in perspective. Otherwise you will be that little kid who throws clubs, and doesn't talk to people unless he shoots a low score.

Give yourself a target for the year. March is not usually the best time to start shaving your h/c, wait until school breaks in June. Then get to work.

Just my 2p's worth.

btw I'm still gonna kick your ass soon. DIY will be finished by Easter, then you're mine.
