I was playing a very difficult 12-hole course last week, called Shiskine Golf Club (pics - http://www.shiskinegolf.com/gallery.html). It's a Par 42 and my handicap is 25. I averaged it down to 17 because it was a 12 hole course.

The weather was awful. It was raining and because it's on the sea, it was at least a "4 club wind".

Anyway. For the first 2 1/2 holes I played terrible. I was duffing shots, missing putts etc.

Then I started to play really well. I got my first birdie at an away course (playing it for the first time) and almost got my putting sorted out. Matchplay (scratch with no handicaps) against my dad, who's a 6 handicap, I was only -3 at the end. Nett, I won +2.

Disappointing 5 at the last though, cause I pulled my tee shot and had a NITBY.

So here's my card:

Hole Par S.I Score
1 4 5 7
2 4 1 6
3 3 9 5
4 3 11 4
5 3 7 4
6 4 3 4
7 3 10 4
8 4 6 3
9 3 2 6
10 3 12 4
11 3 4 4
12 3 8 5

OUT 21 30
IN 21 26
TOTAL 42 56
NETT 39
Handicap - 17

I know the formatting's messed up, but it's hard. You'll just have to look closer...

I can't remember what hole this pic's of, but there's one thing I can remember... Miss the green right, and you're dead.

(I'm the one with the white windshirt on, if you're wondering)
