My beloved 2001 Mercury Sable (90,000 miles) was about worn out. So I had to go buy something different. Wife wanted something taller that was easy to get in and out and so after planning and looking at everything that rolls on wheels online we finally settled on a Kia Sportage. Found this one and got a great deal. 18,000 miles, 2010 V6 loaded and the price was right. So what do you think? Anyone know how good these are? I've had two Hyundais with excellent luck and Kia is owned (and uses the same parts mainly) by Hyundai. I know WiGolfer has a Kia. Remember I'm old and retired so didn't have lot's of dollars to spend.

I wish my car only had 91,000 miles on it. I have a 2005 Trailblazer with 115,000. Work has really been talking a toll on it.

The wife and I traded in our other car, a 2009 Mitsu Outlander, last week for a new 2011 Jeep Compass (we wanted to get a lower monthly payment). It's a smaller SUV but it's not a bad ride. I tried to talk her into a Jeep Wrangler Sahara but that would have increased our payments A LOT, HAHA!!!

I bought my daughter a 2003 Sorento for her 16th. It's got some miles, but it seems like a nice car. A friend of ours bought their twin daughters a used Sportage and really likes it. And another friend of ours has a Kia mini-van and an older model 4 door sedan (don't remember the name) and they love both of theirs. I'd say you probably made a good purchase.

sssmokin, that dude standing by your truck looks as bad as some of the women you post. ;) Nice truck!

shep, my daily driver is a 2004 Wrangler Unlimited. When it's just me or me and my wife, we'd rather drive that than my Yukon XL. Sucks on gas (all of our cars do), but it's a blast to drive!

Nice ride WBL! I don't even own a vehicle anymore. I have a company truck that I'm allow to use as a personal vehicle. When I got it, I sold my Cherokee and bought my irons. :)

Mine...jammed into my too short garage...i clear by about an inch...notice i had to tear off the trim on the header just to get it into the garage. I'm still debating if i want to raise the header or not.

My Super Duty is almost to 200,000. I bought it with 180,000 miles last year. I expect it to run to 400,000. I'm do not think it is unreasonable to expect less than 200,000 miles out of any car made in the last 10-15 years. Japan raised the bar in the 90's, and everyone has followed suit.
