my mom picked me up from school early today which makes this that much sweeter

V-steel 3 wood was the priority, the guy got the right shaft first guess, don't remember exactly what it was, but i was smashing it and it felt great.

i took my driver in to see if i could do considerably better with a different shaft, and for the longest time i couldn't, but my spin rates were off the charts, and after quite awhile we found that the graphite design YS-6 was the right shaft as i finally started blasting something with consistency, my rpms for spin were in the upper 5000's but with this shaft are in the mid 300's the ball speed was around 170 and swing speed is up from 100 to 110 since the last time i hit on the monitor, ( working out does help!!!!)

thing is i was planning on playing tomorrow, but the clubs won't be done until early next week, maybe i'll go fairways and greens with just a set of irons and wedges , or if fedex will hurry up and bring me my damn 5 wood

there is alot more technology than i ever believed possible....

Use it for practice. You will have to create shots you don't face often.
You might find hitting a 4 iron on that 370 par 4 is actually the better way to go.
Keep mental notes of the round for future use.

i ended up taking old woods which was a mistake, i shoulda just taken irons wedges and putter, but didn't, whenever i hit the 4 iron off the tee I did great, that club was money in the bank today, hit it to about 10 ft from 180-190 three times today, short game was off a little bit, shots that are normally a breeze were dismal today, putts kept lipping out, but all in all it wasn't a bad day

well i finally got everything back, still waiting for my 5 wood went to the range today and all i can say is WOW!!!!!

the three wood is an entirely new club to me, its impossible to hit a bad shot with this now they put in what is called a "SK Fiber, Tour Trac 100" and based on its performance it holds the "tour" part up, this thing has a nice mid-high trajectory and i can easily get 280 out of it whereas the steel shaft it was a miracle to get it 230, this thing will be the par 4 slayer

the driver is good with the graphite design YS-6+ X flex, but the different kick point is causing me some trouble, give me a month and this bad boy will tear any course to shreds,

i really can't wait for my 5 wood to get here, it will make me that much more dangerous

everyone needs to get out and on a launch monitor, the difference is immesurable

the range pro was on the hitting station next to me, once i saw what flag he was aiming at i switched to what i would hit to that flag and i was kicking his ass all night,
what a great day
