I just created a myspace account and was browsing around the site and OMG that place is like crack for your mind. It provides so much visual and auditory stimulation and the things people post on there - holy shnikes!!! I just joined to find old friends from high school, and I didn't need to know that the class president is now a raging h*m*.

On another note, I did find a dear friend in HS on there that I lost touch with, so it does have its purposes.

I think my kids will be banned from the internet until they go to college.

Bah, myspace is the epitome of the internet really. It's a place for people to come together and use it for productive or destructive purposes, both are quite capable and it's just what you choose to do with it.

I don't have kids, but if I did:

Kid's computer(s) are in a common area. If they're gonna surf porn they can do it at a friend's house. And their cell phones would NOT have internet access. And the rule of the house would be that the TV and the computer can't be on at the same time.

That would be the least used computer on the planet, dontcha think?
