OK - I need a new bag.

1) Play out of a cart about 65% of the time. My existing bag tends to 'torque' around in the back of the cart - making it hard to access pockets etc. Ogio claims to have a new strap system that keeps your cart bag facing straight toward the back of the cart - rather than twisting about...

2) Carry the bag the rest - up and down a hilly course. Want something light with good strap system and nice dividers for clubs. Suspect that the Woode system is best for keeping clubs organized. Carry cell phone and other personal items and need systems to help with this...

3) Scotland Trip - will need high storage capacity for rainsuits and other weather gear.

Anybody got any suggestions????

What is with you and your constant predictions of doom (rainsuits)? ;)

God will part the clouds while you are there so you can get great shots for shot talk....hehehe

The bag? Ima gettin' one next season and I saw one I like but I forgot the maker......Dick's has it and it's not ogio, at least I don't think it is.

No straps, there is NO reason to kill yourself hauling some heavy ass bag in and out of sand traps all day long ;)...you're coming up on heart atttack age for god's sake!

I like walking the course but I put it on the pull cart!

:D

Hoofer is a great bag.

I've played Callaway bag's for 5 years. I only change them when I wear them out, or i'm a club ho, one of the two. :D

Just make sure you get one with individualized club seperations. This is vital to both the life of your grips and the amount of space that the pockets can handle. The Woode system works great for me. I carry a full rainsuit, a vest, a jacket and extra balls all in the side pocket alone.

Just a suggestion.

Bennington...

That's what I am talking about.

I have my eye on the "silencer" for next season...I love the rightious iron organizer and the external putter tubes.

Bennington golf

My buddy has a couple of "hoofers" and they look like old socks. :p

I like it. Sick looking design as far as appearances go, but great idea nonetheless. That putter slot on the outside is sorta goofy.

Plus, who carries a ball retriever?

I just don't hit it in the water. :)

My putter is always getting hung up in my bag.....thus the external tube for the shortest club.

I don't carry a retriever myself....I'd use that one for the umbrella, BUT, while you and I may never hit into the water ;) there are plenty of callaways and pro V's in there left by less capable golfers. :)

Im getting the Ogio Grom

Ogio Grom. I love the name. Sounds like something out of a science fiction movie...

"Ogio Grom!!! Stand back or I will vaporize you with my subatomic nebulizer!!"

This dude looks like what I need. Although I buy almost all of my equipment off the internet - I wanted to throw a bone to our Golf Director - who does a great job for us. So even though he does not carry Ogio - I told him to order one for me and I will pick it up when it comes in. About a week or so....

Looking forward to carrying it on my next round or two....

Did you get it yet? I've used nothing but Ogio bags for the last 10 years. Of course that amounts to only 3 bags, but they all served their purpose extremely better than other brands that I have used.
