New Black Finish on a Yaupon

Here are a few pictures of a Yaupon in a new finish. This is a Hot Salt Black Oxide. LaMont discovered this finish through a friend of a friend so we decided to try it out on a few putters. This is the first one finished.

How does it wear? Designed to wear and rust? Needs constant maintenance?

Looks good though. Curious to see how it would look in natural light.

It will wear just like any other black oxide, this one just looks better. LOL
