I'd searched for the past month or so for a new putter and finally brought home a new stainless Ping Anser 2 yesterday. Being a lefty makes it hard to shop around and test out a variety of different models. Of the limited selection, the Anser 2 fit the bill.

I broke it in with 18 at the 3rd longest course in the world(2nd in the US) and on #1 knocked a 80 footer to within 18 inches. That made it worth the $90 right there. Only had two 3-putts in the round and a couple 1 putts. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Yeah I've had an eye on that putter for a little bit now. Although I dont care for the G2i model with the face inserts I've found, feels too soft.

I tried a couple of different putters with face inserts and also wasn't a fan of the soft feel.

I have an Anser G2 which I love. No inserts, no wierd weighting just a clean putter.
