About 18 months ago, I picked up some Titleist DCI 981's to play with & learn to hit de golf ball. My goal was (and is) bogey golf, with a sub 90 round by end of summer.

I replaced the 981's 3 rounds ago with Titleist 822OS's & while I'm still trying to figure out distances I had a 47/49 today & I counted them all, even the penalty for losing a ball when I dropped one rather than looking for it so I could keep the pace. This ain't bad because it was a pretty boring game, very consistent. F'ing trees are gonna kill me though!

One of the things I've noticed is that I can hit long irons without feeling like it's a lost cause when I address the ball with a 4 iron.

SWMBO is pissed because we have a dinner party tonite & I was playing golf rather than cleaning up the pool & patio. She'll hafta get over it.

It's easy to deal with the wife out on the course. Maybe play 18 more, just to be safe. ;)

    How did she find out?
About the clubs? She hasn't yet, but probably will when some clueless dumbass asks "how's the new clubs?" when she's around.
