I heard from a reliable source that Taylormade is getting ready to release some new clubs...

A 420 cc version of the R7
A 460 cc version of the R7
Irons with changeable weights.

I don't have any pictures but would imagine the drivers look the same as the old R7 and I would imagine the irons are probably similar to Golfsmith's Twin Tune irons.

NO! I'm in AWE! TM IS REALEASING NEW CLUBS?!

THAT'S UN-POSSIBLE!

Someone release a news headline! TAYLORMADE IS RELEASING NEW CLUBS! How long has it been since they last released a new club? Two weeks? It's about time, they're about a week overdue!

TM's product cycles are a running joke at our expense, as are their "improvements" from one product to the next. Next comes the R7 quintiple XD TP 460 - ie more of the same, brand new price tag. Wahoo.

I think the silliest thing is that they are releasing irons with movable weights. Maybe I'm just old school but what ever happened to learning how to swing a club properly rather than using technology to do it for you? Come on folks learn to hit your @$#%*#! clubs. Besides if the new Drivers are anything like the "old" R7 (and I use that loosely) then they will be to new "dead sticks" added to the TM Driver line.

I am a TaylorMade fan but I also think you should learn how to correct your swing instead of buying clubs to fit your bad swing

TM Japan has so much more stuff than we get here in NA, so by the time they've worn it out over there and worked some of the kinks out, it gets sold over here. Sorta like Honda.

Nike is another that does that....
