    Hi,

Im a newbie from MD i just started to swing a club just two weeks ago and my Dad was so happy that i am slowly developing an interest in the sport that he said he's going to buy me a set ....please help me choose between 2004 Big bertha's or some x18's (not PRO) they both have graphite shafts....which is more forgiving for me? thank you... : )

The big berthas are probably the most forgiving irons ever made but you really need to go demo as many as you can before buying. There's no reason to limit yourself to just those two.

That's great for you and your dad, have fun.

If $ is no option, and you are looking for forgiving:

Include Ping G2, TM RAC, Nike SlingShot. Make sure to demo, demo, demo.

thanks for the replies... : ) i am limited to these sets because these are the only ones that my dads friend has for sale..the x18's really look nice campared to the Big berthas...

ive tried to get my Dad to try my sport IPSC or Practical Shooting.. but he really doesnt care for it that much... he he he if you cant beat them join them i guess... : ) main thing is that we still bond

I put my vote in the the x18's.

I would go with the x-18's. They are just as forgiving, look better and have a better resale value.

thanks guys x18's looks to be the better of the two....i appreciate all the help : )

well my dad bought both....so anyone interested in buying a new set of 2004 Big berthas??? all in plastic..hit me up a price
