played a little par 3 course yesterday where i go to work on short game stuff. i play there quite a bit, and have gotten used to hitting certain clubs and certain shots on most holes.

yesterday it was mid 70s - one of the first warm days of the year. i was a little shocked at how far the ball was going. holes that have been 8i or 7i if the wind is hurting were pin high with 9i into the wind. last hole had 108 to a back pin. choked down 2" on a wedge and hit it 10 yards over the green.

time to remind myself it's not 38 degrees and drizzling anymore huh?

you should move to Texas. I was able to play through the winter. Although, some days were in the 40s and windy....it's better than not playing at all. The summers are miserable though.

But's it's nice to be able to hit the ball further. Look forward to having the worst ankle sock tan line.
