well the g-man is back in the game rolled in at 1:00 this morning.

your right kilted they were filling them pretty fast.still have guys down there but im hoping there are enough vols. from the company so i wont have to go back.

there was total devastaion in a few of the parishes.although i must say somee areas it might have been a blessing.

we worked 95hrs the first week and 86 the second.they had us running all the way from N.O. to Baton Rouge doing deliveris and services.in the first 7 days we did 3500 services of toilets that werent even ours plus the 500 a day we took there.

now i need to go off on a little rant here.hope not to piss anybody off but its about relocation from Katrina.

why in the hell would you relocate from a place that is hurricane prone to another place that is hurricane prone.this foolishness almost cost me another feww weeks away from home.if you live on the Gulf of Mex.and get wiped out by a hurricane dont move to Houston our Galvaston and then whine about how you have to evac.again.you shouldnt move from 1 huricane area to another after you have just been wiped out.use you damn head.

sorry to offened anyone but i had to get that off my chest.but i do hope that the people that lost everything find a new and safer life.

Thanks for your report...and your opinion on where people choose to live.

I guess the same thing could be said about people in California who live near the San Andreas fault. In that case, earthquakes WILL occur there. It is only a matter of time..

I think there are quite a few people who have made the decision to move inland. Last Friday night I was at a neighborhood party, sitting a table with my wife and people I did not know. (The party was given by a neighbor with very young children and she invited parents/kids who were about 10 years younger than me).

We were chatting about normal everyday life when a woman sitting across from me said during the stream of converation that she was from Waveland Mississippi. I recalled from TV that Waveland was pummelled into splinters by a 25 foot wave (ironic name isn't it?).

She told us she returned to her home and there was nothing there but the chimney and front steps. Couldn't find anything as it was all washed away somewhere inland...

I really felt for her.

Some of the coastal areas are just gone. I guess people understand the risks when they move there so they should be able to deal the reality.

If we all stopped living anywhere there were weather problems it would get pretty crowded. We'd have to leave all of the coast lines as well as tornado prone states too. As long as insurance companies are willing to insure the risks people will live where they want.
