It's here! The first major of the year.

Pick 4 golfers who you believe have the best chance to win The Masters.

Scoring is as follows:

If you are the only one to correctly pick the winner, you automatically win.
If there are two or more people who picked the winner, only they will be eligible for the "playoff."
If nobody picks the winner, everyone who made picks is eligible for the "playoff."

Playoff details:
Golfers earn points equivalent to their finish. For example, if Spieth finishes T24th, he earns 24 points.
Golfers that miss the cut earn last place (to make the cut) points +1 point.
I will add up all of the points earned by all of your picks.

LOWEST POINT TOTAL WINS THE CHALLENGE.

In the event of a tie: Whoever picked the highest-placed golfer will win. If the winners pick the exact same people, whoever picked the winning combo first (I can see revision history) wins.

You may make only one set of picks but you may edit them until the Wednesday night before the tournament starts. I close the thread to picks on Thursday morning.

Good luck!
*all taxes, duties or other fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. :geek:

Again, a big thank you to Sssmokin for donating the ST coffee mug prizes!

The three red hots picks right now are Scheffler, McEIroy and Rahm. Outside that there are a few others. In terms of loyalty to my fellow Europeans, I'm going to go:

McElroy
Rahm
Fleetwood
Hatton

Sheesh! Picked the winner and came in last place! I've picked Gary Woodland a number of times due to him growing up a few miles east of us. He had a good tourney and I should have picked him again. I've also picked Reed a number of times just to be ornery. And, when I didn't pick him he played well. Would never have expected either of those to play better than McIlroy and Thomas who I picked... and both missed the cut.

Picking winners on these contests is a lot like my putting... pathetic!!!

I got lucky. Everyone who picked Rahm also picked Rory I think, like I did. So it came down to the other picks............and mine didn't do well but did better than the other guys picks. Fun to watch.
