Forecast highs of 19 both days....

Let's here your story about how you went out there and posted a 75 on your first round of the year...

Not happening.

Forcast is calling for highs of 19, but winds over 50km/hr. Not exactly scoring conditions.

Honestly, i'll be lucky if I even get to the range.

Last night we had winds gusting to 110km/hr. Just sickening.

My plan is to get out next week sometime. Take an afternoon off.

I gotta get out. I'm getting all squirrely. :(

I also find it hilarious that I have no reason to check the weather channel anymore - I just come to ST and get the whole story!...lol.

Great work, guys!

About two weeks ago - I played in a wind that was consistently 40 km/hr with gusts to 56 km/hr.

It was quite a challenge - I'll grant you that..

The wind die-eth today.

I'm hitting the range today forsure. +21, wind from the South at about 15km. Perfect summer weather.

See, i like it warmer, but it makes you sweat and breath heavier. That attracts mosquitoes. So a little wind makes a HUGE difference. Last summer wasn't too bad, but there have been summers that would make alot of guys wanna jump in the lake on 11.

Man, I am so pumped to hit balls outside today. So pumped.

Well you are sending some of your wind far, far south because we played in a nice 10-15 mph wind today.

The greens have recovered from the aeration almost completely. Last week they were slow and bumpy. This week the super rolled them and cut them and today they were fast and true. I did a rotten job of adjusting and three jabbed 5 times...We are having a one day member/guest on Friday and they should be perfect for that...Fairways are almost all the way in. Just a tiny bit thin/tight but getting there.

Got to the range. Kinda not what I wanted with the 20km wind straight into your face. But I wasn't so much working on distance as I was focusing on distance.

Pros:

-wedges. Very smooth. Some pulls, but that from quick hands. Easy fix.
-hydrid. This thing is in my bag.
-mid irons. Suprisingly good for this time of year. One less thing to worry about.

Cons:

-fairway woods and driver. Where did this fade come from? It's only about 10 yards, but what happened to the draw? I need more time out there.
-short irons. Yanking everything. Need more time on the range. I feel as tho I'm standing too close to the ball. Hence the yanks. I'll work on it.

I bought a range pass today. I'll easily surpass it's cost within 2 months.

The courses opened today. The one I was at had 18 holes open, only 2 were temps and the clubhouse guy said they'll probably open those two on Monday. The other course, as I drove past, looked to be at about 75% greens on all 27 holes. Very good considering the newest 9 just opened last year.

I'm going to try and get out sometime this week, weather dependent.

I hit the range yesterday, junk absolute junk. Went agian today. Perfection, dead straight and I could even work the ball a bit. All this early practice seems to be paying off oculd be a good seaon. My driver is stil abit eratic but that can be fixed with a bit of work.

Gotcha.

I guess I'm sorta spoiled as Regina has a few nice courses well within easy driving distance. 15 minutes and I can be anywhere.

I hve to drive 45-hour to get anything good. but the course that are good are great ones. A couple of years ago this small town about 45 away added a back nine and changed that layout of the existing holes, the their course. I went from a great 9 hole track to a spetacular 18 hole track. I hope to play there at least once. Winnipeg has some sweet courses in and around it too.
