It was modified stableford, playing to a quota much like our soon-to-be world tourney. My quota carried over from last year at a 22. I absolutely trashed the first 6 or 7 holes-- I'm talking gutter trash here guys. I think I had like 2 points after 6 holes. The 8th hole was a par 5, the long drive hole.

I stepped up and hit my best drive of the day. About 310ish and stops mere inches from the fringe, but in the fairway none-the-less. I scratched my name on the card, birdied the hole and found my turnaround. It was too late to make a full recovery, but pars were crowding my card a little more and I ended up with 19 points for the day. I didn't meet my quota, but then again, I never really expected to win the tourney. The $45 gift certificate to the pro shop took the sting off of the first 7 holes.

Now, what can I get from Bear Trace for $45? I have my eye on that ball shagger.

Callaway HX Blue 3 peices or a nice towel.

Gloves are also great. Couple hats maybe.

If you see a black Mizuno hat, pick that up for me. :)

I'm down with that. Something you'd probably not buy yourself, but will get a lotta use out of.

Otherwise, if you like the course, a hat is cool. Maybe a repair tool or ball marker. And logo balls....

If you play there often, how about trading it over for a credit for the beverage cart?

It's a ball bag with a tube on it thatcollects golf balls, and all joking aside I have no interest in one. ;)
