I usually just read the posts and comments here but I have found a very nice online golf game I wanted to share with you.

    Shot-Online.com

They have came out with a online golf game that I think finaly uses the most true golf physics I have played yet. Your stance matters, your lie matters the strength and direction of the wind matters, all the things that make your Sunday morning round fun is here.

also you wont get bored like I did with most single player games where you can shoot 18 under in a few rounds. Like I said it uses really good golf physics and as in real life putting takes a long time to master!

And the best part is its free right now. you can download the game and play for free since its in testing phase right now

so if you really need a golf fix this game does it.. cant tell you how many times i found myself up at 2am just to get in 1 more round :)

Do you have a financial interest in this game or organization?

not a bit...just a addictive game i found.. thought i might let people know about it.. thats all.. im a golf junky like everyone else here :)

I played it for about a month, I found it revolting.

The ball physics bore no resemblence to reality, a high wedge would hit the green and roll 60 feet or more to the other side.

I loved the 150 yard drives.

I also didn't like the amount of money required to buy upgrades like clothes and equipment.

I don't go near it anymore.

not to be argumentitive.. but how many new golfers do you see sticking wedges on greens?? my guess is none.. thats why i liked this game as you advance you increase your skills to be able to stick wedges and hit 300 yard drives not just given that ability right away.. you gotta earn it.. just like you do in real life... but hey if not for you.. then ok..

I wanted to like it, I gave it a month....maybe a little more.

I think the "curve" is too steep.

I'll never forget, I actually had the game dialed in and they changed the ball physics in an upgrade....I went right back to square one.

I like Links and TW 2005 better.

Looks like a Role Playing Game but for golf. lol
I'll give this one a try.

sorry, didn't see this post or I wouldn't have created the other on the 'Other link' forum.

Just wanted to say, for an administrator, or whatever you are, this post is a little more descriptive and useful then the reply you crapped out on my post.

If you like Links or TW better because they are easier and you don't like challenges, that I can understand. An admission like that means more to people than 'this game suxxors'.

And yes, I've played both ad nauseum.

Yes he is the admin and has sust out more spammers than you have chnaged your socks. ;)

Relax a little people are just a little curious we have had a lot of spamming as of late and people just comming and posting two of the same links is questionable please calm a little.

Guess what kip......my reply is an indication that I am all out of patience.

I am going to give you a few minutes to try and turn this ship of yours around, if you get my drift.

    Cheers!
    ;)

I'm calm, but it doesn't take much to look around and see that there's nothing nefarious about it. And not much more time to realize this is a player's community, and we are on our own.

And Sling, it'll take less than that, skipper.

ban away if that suits your ego. No sweat here.
