I just came back from the range. I was working on trying to rediscover the magic I had earlier in the season. I checked my alignment and stance, and I seemed to be more closed than I used to be. So, I opened up slightly, flared out my left foot more, a la Hogan, and started hitting balls. Lo and behold, my beloved two yard draw came back to me with every club, even the driver. I'm very happy to be hitting like this again, but I have to ask, opening the stance to hit a draw? WTH? I felt like I was clearing a lot better, so maybe a little OTT went away. Anyone have any ideas?

IMO there is not a one size fits all golf swing. If it works go with it. Look at hall of famer Lee Trevino. Not an orthodox swing. a little OTT. WTH go for it.

I hit a draw and play every club in my bag from an open stance.
