Ouch for my brother

He missed qualifying for the US Am by a shot. 67 first round, 76 second round with two double bogeys, one of those from a 4-putt. 142 gets a playoff, 141 is in.

He ended up winning the playoff for first alternate, but small consolation.

I am sure it was a very rewarding expierience for him. Not many golfers get to feel that kind of pressure.

I am sure he may not be feeling it right now but that is a great accomplishment and he should be proud.

Yeah, he's coping about as well as can be expected. He has to make a long drive this weekend from Atlanta to Virginia, so that will help.

He has two more summers before he (most likely) turns pro and he's always getting better, so it's not over yet.
