It was on the Golf Channel. He's got one made up on the Odyssey "sabertooth" style putter head.

Welcome to the club. I think the long putter thing will catch on eventually. Once people get over the look of it, I believe most would putt better with an anchored putter (long, belly). Some people pick them up, hit 5 putts, and say that it is not for them. If those people would use it for a half hour on the practice green, then an 18 hole round, I believe the benefits would become apparent.

I can't say that I've EVER come across anyone who uses a belly putter or a broomstick that I would consider a decent putter. Better than useless, but definitely not good.

Maybe if I could get in a quick 18 with Adam Scott or Bernhard Langer then maybe, but until then I will always consider them a crutch for bad putters.

I don't think anchoring a putter should be allowed. Just my opinion.
