Glad her happy with them. Most sets I've seen have a lot of shaft rust, no labels, beat up heads, etc. You have a keeper set there. Enjoy!
They are sweet. Hate to do it, but I can't handle oversize grips...……..and those grips are NICE. But if I want to play them (which I do) I will find some authentic Eye2 grips for them, even if I have to go straight to PING.

Not sure they make them anymore. It was the era of GP Victory grips and when I was caddying in the 80’s most folks had these installed on their Eye 2’s. Tacki-Mac white line grip is probably as close as your going to get to the original Ping grip of the era, but IMHO, Lamkin Crosslines with white paint fill are timeless classics that look good on modern as well as vintage clubs.

Tacki-Mac white line grip is probably as close as your going to get to the original Ping grip of the era, but IMHO, Lamkin Crosslines with white paint fill are timeless classics that look good on modern as well as vintage clubs.
I talked to rep at PING and he said that while they still can make special orders of the Eye 2s, they don't have the original style grip anymore. I'll be able to find one close though.
