Who plays these and do you like them? I have some TM RAC HT's and was thinking of switching to the Pings.

Thanks

I play G2's and love them. After finding what fitted me at the golf shop I tried them out and was sold. They were a huge upgrade from my old Big Bertha clones, much more forgiving and livelier off the face. I've been hitting my 9 iron where I would normaly hit an 8 iron for instance. Perfect for a high handicapper like myself.

Definately try the G2s out before buying, some people don't care for the feel of Pings.

Thanks, I tried some out in the store and really liked them. I have some RAC HT's and am not sure it is worth trading.

I'm a hogan fan, so check 'em out before you buy something else. But if the G2 irons are as good as the driver, get them now!

The G2's are an amazingly forgiving set, even on mishits they perform well. They may not be the most forgiving club and they may be for "higher" handicapers but they are a great club and I would reccommend them highly.

If you care about having the latest technology I know Ping has a new iron set coming out soon, there called i5's. Looks kind of like a mix between the eye2 and the i3's. I dont know if you care for the latest thing, but I'd hate for you to buy some G2's then realize that the i5's are better for you. (Seems to happen everytime I buy a club)

Thanks, I don't need the latest technology, after the way I played today I don't think new irons is the answer.

Thanks

Hey John...

I have been playing the G2's for about a year now after switching from Ping Zing's and I can't say enough about the club...They have very good feel and balance to them.

I would also tell you to check out the new G5's and I5's that are coming out here in the next few weeks...that being said you will most likely be able to pick up some G2's at a good price...
Good luck with your decision!

I was at the local golf store today and they said they have seen no reductions and the G2 has been discontinued. I am thinking about biting on a set.

Are you guys saying G2 irons are more forgiving than Titleist blades??? lol

Id consider them cuz I know Ping's are very adjustable which is always a plus for custom fitting. Some cast clubs cant be tweaked BOOO.
