1 degree of lie can make a difference. I don't know if the 22-feet is accurate but 1 degree is noticeable. My old irons were 2 degrees upright (PING i3+ custom fit through static and dynamic measurements). With them I hit draws (and not slight draws). My new irons (custom fit through static and dynamic by a different fitter) are 1 degree upright and I hit them straight. The new fitter said the old fitter may have measured me for 2 degrees upright without taking into account the extra 1/2" length I needed, making them more like 3 degrees upright). Either way, 1 degree of lie can make a difference
