Good question. Got one I could cut up and mount, polish and look under the microscope?

Nippon site says... "And the use of new NSGS8665V alloy co-developed and patented with Nisshin Steel has helped create a revolutionary combination of strength and weight balance." I can't find anything about it. Oops. Yes I did.
