playing 36 holes on Thursday

Got the day off and I am bringing a friend of mine who has never played the course to Torrey Pines South, but he works in the morning so we are teeing off in the afternoon. I am a very anxious person when it comes to getting out and playing a round and I dont want to wait till the afternoon to play, so I am just going to play real early and then again with him in the afternoon. I was thinking of just playing the South twice, but I play it all the time so I was wondering if you guys think I should play 36 holes on the South? 18 on the North then 18 on the South? or 18 somewhere else then come back to Torrey?

oops. i voted before reading the post. change my vote from south to north. i say play the north in the morning, then the south in the afternoon with your friend.
