I firmly believe that golf is a game best taught by non-relatives.
I played in a tournament last year where one member of your team had to be a lady player and, I played with a husband and wife. He tried to give her a golf lesson in the middle of the round and she very sweetly but firmly told him "You need to be quiet while we are playing. Lessons are for the range."
I wanted to hug her myself...
Now, my wife is starting to get interested a little and the lady assisstant pro at my course has given me 7 iron and sandwedge to help get my wife started. I'll help her with the chipping and putting but, I want her to go see the pro for anything else.
