Skill Level: if you're talkin about handicap then i'd say 8

Practice: per week? i try to at least pick up and swing a club everyday, and with school i like to at least get to the range once a week, hopefully play at least once every two weeks

I go to shop wherever i can get what i need for the lowest price, local shops or over internet dealers, no ebay though

good prices, knowledgable staff, place to try the clubs, member benefits, good location,

I'm 28. (You mentioned age range, sometimes i feel like i'm 60, so i'm actually 28-60...lol)

Skill level. Hmm. I would say "better than average". Is that being vain? :(

I try to get out 3 times a week, whether that is rounds or practice. That's an average, sometimes more, sometimes less.

I shop for golf clubs online (E-bay/Golf site classifieds). I buy balls and tees locally. I refuse to buy clubs locally as the prices are just ridiculous. Buy online and save a ton.

As long as they are courteous and friendly, and they carry white tees and Callaway HX Blue, i'm happy. All of the above makes me a loyal customer.

Hope this helps.

Age: 30's

Skill level: A difficult question to answer. I think the Nat'l average for your typical golfer is 100 on a par72 course. I've been hitting mid to high 80's mostly, so I will say better than average also. But, I bet Rockford is better than I am--and no!! U R not being vain!!

Weekly: Hopefully play 2 or 3 times, and go the range once or twice. That's a GOOD week though.

Shop: Locally, I go to Dick's s.goods, maybe a "Golf Headquarters" or "Golf Supreme" type shop. Ebay, and some online stores depending on what I'm looking for.

A great shop: Nice people behind the counter, variety, some type of indoor hitting area/or a driving range out back so I can test hit the clubs I want to buy, in house club maker/builder/repairer--always a bonus.

I will say I'm not completely loyal to any store. The one shop with a club builder doesn't carry certain brands. ANother store is cheaper, and yet another shop has a larger variety than the other two, but is a little out of the way. So, put these together and I'm there!!

What is your skill level?
Average'ish - 19.5 handi, I think

On average, how many days do you play/practice golf?
3

Where do you generally shop for golf products? (name of shop)
eBay, Riverside Golf - The Candy Stores of Golf, Nevada Bob's (only because my gf's family always gets me GCs there instead of Riverside), Golf Town (to browse only)

What makes a great golf shop?
Good staff, good selection, good pricing, good setup, and some sort of launch monitor'ish/range facility to see how you hit the clubs and/or the ability to demo a club or two

What would make you loyal to a certain store?
That they have good prices, give me excellent prices, and I can be friendly with the staff - I've ended up golfing with the guys at Riverside more than once and that's all cool by me

Currently a 14.7 handicap index

On average, how many days do you play/practice golf?

Typically I am only able to get out once to twice a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

Where do you generally shop for golf products? (name of shop)

Golfsmith (both online and the local shop). Since I am into components and building my own clubs, Golfsmith is currently the best game in town and they have excellent customer service. Recently, I have purchased and searched for some putters on E-bay and Golfclubexchange.com.

What makes a great golf shop? What would make you loyal to a certain store?

Good selection, good prices, great customer service, and hitting bays/practice areas so that you can try before you buy.

Hope this helps,

What is your skill level? 7 Handicap

On average, how many days do you play/practice golf? Recently I only play about every 2/3 weeks at a weekend and that's only if the weather is OK. In years gone by when I was a student, I was regularly known for doing up to 72 holes a day or at least 18

Where do you generally shop for golf products? (name of shop) DirectGolfUK (Online or in store)

What makes a great golf shop? Knowledgable, trustworthy sales staff who aren't just trying to sell you what they need to shift. I was 100% honest when I used to do that job, maybe that's why my sales figures were rubbish.
