Thanks for asking. She won three times last Summer. She took second place in the State Junior Match Play losing on the 19th hole to one of the top five players in the state. Finished 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 6th, and 7th in other big high school events. Was 6th in a really good field early in the year in Galena, IL at Eagle Ridge. She was 2nd in her high school conference, 1st team all area, and 3rd team all state. Faded at the end of the year unfortunately, and did not play well at the State High School tournament as her swing kind of fell apart.

So this Winter she''s working on some advanced swing moves so the year end fade never gets her again. We joined a local country club so she has a beautiful practice facility for next year. She's been hitting off of dirt and old mangy mats at our most recent place. Decent course, but terrible range and putting greens.

She'll play college golf somewhere. She's good enough now, and she could get grant and academic money from D3 schools and we've been approached about that. D2 and D3 can't approach her until next September 1. But we'll make a few unofficial visits within the rules this Winter and next Spring. This next Spring and Summer will be very important for her.

That is awesome. Tell her congrats on all of her success and best wishes for the future.

How much does she charge for lessons?

That's great news, esox!

Keep us updated! I always like to hear about young golfers taking it to the next level. Especially when they're somehow connected to the ST family!!
