I've been around this forum for I guess about 6-8 months now and really like the community here. I'm considering purchasing a Premium Membership, however, I'm not one to throw money away. For those that have a Premium Membership: Is it worth it? Money well spent? Would you buy again knowing what you do now?

Sling, no bag on you or or site, just want to make sure it's for me.

Thanks,

Robert

I'll just tell you what you get.

I used to charge an annual fee of $39.95
The money is used to defray the costs of running the site....like buying wedges to give to people like.....oh, I don't know.... ;) and paying for hosting, the odd software upgrade and the like.

  • PM's get additional pm space
  • Their own ST e-mail address if they desire it)
  • a private forum where posting rules are VERY relaxed. ;)
  • occasional extra goodies like balls, gift cards, etc..
I am looking at some software upgrades that would only be available to PM's and when Tiger calls looking for a round and want's to know if I can bring a few friends......I'd pick from the PM pool first (you never know, it could happen).

HOWEVER.....I recently changed the pricing structure.
It WAS, $39.95 annually, it is NOW a ONE TIME charge. Lifetime membership.

Plus your user name turns that pretty blue color. :)

$39.95 for lifetime membership? I can do that. Consider me a Premium Member!

Hell, I just lucked into a free wedge I didn't have to pay for, so I got a few extra bucks. :)

Yeah, it rocks, I love it.

And how do you think I get away with so much?

This site is worth every penny of what Sling charges. The Ho-ing stories alone had me reaching for my wallet.

For me the Premium Membership was all a matter of saying "Job well done".

Anyone who puts out this kind of time and effort, remains active, and not to mention what was initially an investment financially to provide an atmosphere such as this, for us to enjoy, deserves the support.

I was sold on the lifetime membership. I'm a premium member as of about an hour ago.
