The World team is up 3 1/2 to 2 1/2.

In Today's matchups I like Singh/Clark, Mickelson/DiMarco, Woods/Furyk & Weir/Immelman.

And the best match of the day could be Couples/Toms vs Scott/Goosen.

I see Player kept Weir and Immelman together for today's round. They totally destroyed their opponents yesterday.

I watched two holes today. This is what I took away from that limited play:

If Adam Scott could hit the fairway, he'd be unbelievable. Both times he hit drives into deep sasquatch territory and dropped irons to 8 feet out of the cabbage.

Both he and Tiger should tee off with 3 woods every hole....

I really enjoy this format. It allows the golfers to play much more aggresively.

I agree about the format. I like the Presidents cup format even better than the Ryder cup as everyone plays all four days rather than playing 36 the first 2 days with some guys left on the bench.

Tiger was killer on the par 3's yesterday. Cambell/Cabrerra look almost unbeatable together. Speaking of Cabrerra, is his caddy one of the guys on Big Break IV? Looks just like him if it is not him.

I thought the american team had an advantage from the beginning because the international team did not have ernie els. He was a big part of the team last year. Anyone rmember the playoff? If the international team could pull this off it would be amazing. Go america!

Clutch putt by DiMarco to give the US the win. They should combine the Ryder and President's Cups together and have 3 teams playing.

Watching Freddie win his match against Vijay might be my favorite golf moment of the year. Who would've guessed that.

I'm glad it got close towards the end. It was looking like a real yawn earlier in the day.

Best moment of the day was Phil Mickelson on 18 after he learned that he had not halved the match with Cabrera, and had not clinched the Cup for America. The look on his face was funny. :D

Of course, perhaps Nicklaus should have explained better the changes in the rules, as otherwise perhaps Mickelson wouldn't have conceded the putt to Cabrera...

The whole thing from saturday afternoon onwards was so boring. I'm telling you right now, that if DiMarco misses that putt and they end up in a tie, the President's Cup loses alot of sponsorships and interest. It's just a weak tournament, in my opinion.

Sure, all the stars are there (save Els and everyone else from the UK), but it just had no excitement to me. Chris made that putt and I just changed the channel to see what else was on...

The Ryder cup at least instills some rivalries. I think you need that for a competition. Not jeering and hatred, just competitive angst. :)

I'm with Rock on this...I had no enthusiasm whatsoever for the Pres Cup or the Seve trophy.

The idea of a three-team-competition is interesting, but I'd hate to see the Ryder sacrificed for that.

Another suggestion...a mixed competition. Like mixed doubles in tennis. 2-ball foursomes, that kinda thing. I think that would be cool.

Being paired with Nat Gulbis..."great shot, Nat...lets have a hug...no, no, it's just my mobile phone in my pocket, honest..."

Both of those remainding 2 matches would have gone on until a winner emerged. No tie unless the internationals won both matches.
