Pretty Clubs

I LOVE the clean look of blades (MP-32, Australian Blades MCT, etc.) but play off a 16 and don't believe I can handle them. I'm looking for the cleanest, most elegant game improvement irons around. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

TA5's if you can still find them are great looking. They are in between game improvement and players clubs. Also Tommy Arounr 845's are very nice looking as well. Mizuno also makes some nice looking stuff.

We have about the h/c. If you like the look of Mizuno, try the MX-23s. They are game imrovement but are forged and have a great look and feel.

I built these about 3 weeks ago, I've played them 3 times and I love them!

I am a high handicap, I now have a sweet looking set of forged irons that didn't break the bank, I paid $373 for all the components, I know you can buy them assembled but I don't know how much.

Check golfsmith for more info.

I gotta say that the TM 300's are amazing clubs that tailor to all levels of golfers. I think they are the type of irons that can be played by a 16ish handicap player and can be played the entire time you are improving. I am a 1 handicap and absolutely love them, and i let my dad, who is a 5 time a year golfer try them and he actually hit them relatively good!! You should try these out or any of the other TM line of 300, 320 or 260 irons.

Holy smoke! Those are beautiful, Slingblade! I am seriously going to check those out.

Did some research - XC is the new oversize forged cavity back, the 600C is XC's little brother, not pure blade, not oversized, and pretty too. Anyone hit the 600Cs?

I hit the Mizuno mp-32 today - feels great. But those Snake eyes...

Unfortunately, I can't find a Canadian distributer for Snake Eyes irons, and I don't want to pay the outrageous (over $100) duty on these clubs. What a bummer.

(sigh)

Still.......even with the markup it's a good deal. Is there any way to avoid the duty?

Like if I got them (or built them) and shipped them to you (just curious)?

Golfsmith sells out of Ontario, no duty required. Just sign up to become a member, phone the Canadian Golfsmith and viola! You're Sling, just as a Canuck!

Otherwise the complete order will ship from our Austin, Texas facility, subject to normal duty and customs clearance charges. All on-line charges are displayed in U.S. dollars. Give it a whirl! I've order plenty of stuff from Golfsmith online, they even transfer anything that's in stock in the Toronto store to be shipped from there to save you shipping costs and duty. I recently purchased a golf bag, 25 grips and a hat and shipping was $7CDN. (I live in SK, by the way).

They also sell a club making kit for $100...comes with everything you need....tape, solvent, sandpaper, swing weight scale, shaft ruler, instructions......simple as can be, all you need is to decide on a shaft.
