I am interested in getting a belly putter. How do you know what length to get. The shortest stock belly putters I have seen are 40 inches. I have a fairly large belly and want to make sure Im getting all the benefits of the belly putter. Steve

How deep into your belly button will it go? JK :D

I hate these things and I wouldn't know how to go about measuring for one. If I was going this route I'd look more at the chest putters like Langer uses. :)

OK, real answer: The perfect length is the one where the butt end intersects your belly at the same lavel as your elbows. This way the shaft will be parallel to your forearms.

At least, that's the way it looks on TV. :)

Maybe you'd better ask Sergio.

P.S. I used a 42" belly putter for a while, and I putted great with it on shorter putts, but it was very difficult to get the speed right on longer putts.
