Oh contraire...I am thinking in the other direction.

I have gotten desperate on the putting issue and was hoping you would be so kind to do some research and post your thoughts here for your friends at Shottalk....

(I am considering the two ball myself....) :groupwave

Here's a list of the top putters from Golf Magazine's "Putter Test 2004", based on the impressions of various handicaps across the board:

1. Odyssey DFX 2-Ball blade
2. Nike Blue Chip Oz T100
T3. Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball
T3. Titleist Scotty Cameron Red X
T5. Ben Hogan Bettinardi Baby Ben
T5. Taylor Made Rossa CGB Daytona 1
T5. Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2

I personaly like the White Hot 2-ball. It's listed in my "Dream Setup". Although, I bought a Rossa knockoff for my GF and I love it.....(sure, for my GF.....lol)

check out macgregor v-foil putters, brilliant design by bobby grace. hefty swingwieght, popular backwieghted-style putter, long sightline, sharp corners of the face, and sole forces you to preset your press means extreme ease in alighnment. and center and heel shaft versions mean that one will most likely fit your stroke properly.

I can't. I'm too busy talking myself out of it.

I'm watching one on ebay right now. Used but only played two rounds...center alignment...33"...mmmmmm...

I really shouldn't get it...but it's only $74 with two hours to go!!!!!!!!

What'll I tell the better half?

I would tell him that you bought a new putter. :D

I like the Ping Doc 17. It looks so horrid, but it sure feels nice. It kinda reminds me of an old hood ornament with a shaft drilled into it, but it sure works for a POS looking short stick.

That's a nice-looking putter - I'm a big wrap for centre-shafting. I have a centre-shafted Odyssey mallet (not a two-ball). I think the centre-shafting helps witkeeping the face square at impact - I find I tend to close the face with a heel-shafted putter.

I am sad to say that I cannot report any spectacular results. It is a VERY different feel from what I am used to ....more work will be required.

It's the feel Bravo......soooo soffft off the face. It's as if it's wrapped in a diaper, it's so soft...I had to hit it ever so slightly harder too.

That's a beauty, blade. The exact same one I'm looking to score.

It does feel like butter, and the center alignment makes standing over the ball easier.

Good luck assimilating it.

I'm sure it's the putter. I mean, it's gotta be faulty equipment, right?
