General clubmaking question. I have noticed that some heads are shimmed to open the face angle of the club. How would one go about doing this? I'm considering a project, and the head takes a .350 shaft. I could use a .335 and shim it. What do you use for a shim? I'm assuming you shim the front side on the top and the back side of the bottom.

Cant be done with a standard shim.
The process involves reaming the hosel, and the use of a special shim. Reaming a titanium hosel without the proper equipment is next to impossable. This is a process done by only a small, small amount of clubmakers. It is a very risky process, meaning you will most likely be shopping for a new driver head when you are done.

Thanks, Lyle. I guess I'll be looking for a tour head.
