Does one get additional weight cartdridges when buying the R7 TP ? Seriously thinking of buying one, although I might hold off until the new year when I'll have more money and more chance of there being half-decent weather.
If you like the r7 go ahead and get one, they can be found pretty cheap. They will have new ones out after the first of the year.
THe r7 tp does have extra weights.
The advantages are you can mess with bias, the heavier the weight the more bias,e.g extra weight on the heel will bring the toe in and help a draw.
I hate the idea od adding another variable to my game, not for me although I love the R7,I just can't trust myself not to behave like a tit and change weights every round.
Yeah, know what ya mean. These things are retailing at a whopping £599 over here - that is, like, $1050, or so. Serious, serious money. They're going at in around £250 'as new' on ebay, though. Might take a look at the Launcher Comp too at some stage..
Very often people ask about various weighting gimmickry and sure, you can buy the TM stuff for a couple of hundred pounds but why would you when you can have this for so much less?
Where is 'over here'? I'm in Yorkshire and you get one new for £299,and £250 on Ebay,or less second hand.[/QUOT

A TOUR PREFERRED R7 ? ? ! I would very much doubt it. . .

Glad I went for the regular TM R7 - I'm not so sure I'd like the much deeper face on the TP or not. Think I have myself a real bargin with what I've got here, like Happy days, can't wait to try it out
I now own a TM driver, irons, bag, wedge, and soon-to-be owner of the new TM Corsa putter. Shucks !!!
I'm talking s/h prices, you are talking new. There are plenty of duffers out there with more money than sense who realised they needed a 460 head then decided to sell the R7.
